Trump Releases New Batch Of Previously Classified UFO Files

The administration of US President Donald Trump has released a new batch of previously classified government files related to UFO sightings and unexplained aerial phenomena. The latest release includes military reports, videos, witness testimonies, radar records, and documents connected to incidents officially described as “Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena” or UAPs.

According to the United States Department of Defense, the files are part of an ongoing transparency initiative ordered by President Trump earlier in 2026. Officials said the material was released to allow the public to review decades of government records linked to mysterious aerial sightings reported by military personnel, pilots, astronauts, and intelligence officers.

The newly released collection reportedly contains more than 220 files, including over 50 videos and several detailed investigation reports. One of the most discussed documents describes 209 sightings of strange “green orbs,” discs, and fireball-like objects near a secret military facility in Sandia, New Mexico, between 1948 and 1950. Other records include accounts from intelligence officers and military pilots who claimed to have seen unusual objects moving at high speeds or changing direction suddenly in restricted airspace.

Some of the released material also includes old NASA mission recordings and astronaut testimonies from the Apollo space program. Audio from the Apollo 12 Moon Mission reportedly captured astronauts discussing mysterious streaks of light seen during their mission in deep space. However, NASA officials and scientists have previously explained some of these incidents as possible visual effects, floating debris, or natural space-related phenomena.

The Pentagon stated that although many cases remain unexplained, the released files do not provide confirmed evidence of extraterrestrial life or alien technology. Officials from the government’s All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office said several sightings could not be fully identified because of limited data, unclear footage, or lack of scientific evidence.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said the administration wants to increase public trust by releasing information that was previously hidden behind security classifications. He stated that Americans should be able to review the material themselves and form their own conclusions regarding the unexplained incidents.

The release has generated strong reactions across social media and among UFO researchers, scientists, and conspiracy theory communities. Some people believe the files suggest the government knows more about mysterious aerial objects than it has publicly admitted in the past. Others argue that most of the footage and reports can likely be explained through military technology, atmospheric conditions, camera errors, or natural phenomena.

Experts noted that many of the newly released files still contain redactions and incomplete information. Independent researchers also pointed out that some materials had already appeared in earlier public records or unofficial leaks over the years. Despite this, analysts say the release marks one of the largest public disclosures of UFO-related government records in modern American history.

Officials confirmed that additional batches of declassified UFO documents are expected to be released in the coming months as part of the administration’s broader transparency effort regarding unidentified aerial phenomena and national security investigations.
