The fourth installment of the Tiger Obstacle Race took place at Khorfakkan Amphitheatre on Saturday, bringing together 2,300 adventurous participants from various backgrounds and age groups.
This exciting race included diverse courses tailored to different age brackets:
Children (4-9 years): 800 metres
Youth (10-15 years): 1.5 kilometres
Professional: 8 kilometres
Open Category: 4 km and 8 km
Participants overcame thrilling obstacles, such as rope climbs, icy pools, water slides, and bell climbs, all designed to challenge their strength and endurance.
The top three finishers in the professional men’s and women’s categories were awarded cash prizes totaling AED 20,000.
His Excellency Tariq Saeed Allay, the Director General of the Sharjah Government Media Bureau, emphasized the event's role in promoting sports as a lifestyle and commended Khorfakkan’s natural beauty, which is perfect for such competitions.
Key support from government and private sponsors, including Sharjah Civil Defence, Sharjah Police, and others, played a critical role in the event's success.
