Farmers in Mary Velayat have triumphantly wrapped up a significant lambing season, marking a remarkable feat in the region's agricultural landscape. A significant player in this success story is the “Maldar” livestock farm situated in the Sakarchage region. This esteemed farm exceeded its production goals by successfully nurturing 66,485 healthy lambs and kids from over 73,000 mother animals. The young animals are being grazed on fertile, resource-rich lands like Taz guyy and Harazly. These locales provide premium natural forage that promotes rapid growth and health. Efficient grazing management also adheres to veterinary standards, diminishing the likelihood of disease.
Meanwhile, preparations for the forthcoming summer season are already underway at the farm. Workers are assessing water wells, fixing water-lifting systems, and strategizing the effective utilization of grazing territories. Such proactive measures are critical for managing heat conditions and ensuring that livestock have adequate water and feed during summer's peak.
Following the lambing season’s conclusion, farmers have also commenced the spring sheep shearing activities.
