Sheikh Khaled Attends 2026 Abu Dhabi Infrastructure Summit

Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan was present at the second Abu Dhabi Infrastructure Summit (ADIS) hosted at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), themed “Urban Evolution: Rethinking Cities, Redefining How We Live.”

During his visit, Sheikh Khaled explored the summit's exhibition, engaging with cutting-edge technologies and innovative practices in smart infrastructure and sustainable city development. The event featured over 75 exhibitors, showcasing advancements in smart urban planning and infrastructure aimed at enhancing the quality of life.

He emphasized that investment in forward-thinking and sustainable infrastructure is key to Abu Dhabi’s vision for creating resilient and efficient cities to foster economic growth, address emerging needs, and enhance community wellbeing.

The summit attracted more than 7,000 leaders from various sectors, including government executives and experts from both local and global companies. In addition, over 100 speakers and 250 government officials contributed to sessions discussing urban development's future.

Topics discussed highlighted the four main components vital to future cities: infrastructure, urban quality of life, smart innovations, and sustainability.

A dedicated Abu Dhabi pavilion displayed the emirate’s comprehensive urban planning strategy, emphasizing entities involved in mobility, sustainable infrastructure, and city development. Key organizations presented projects associated with Abu Dhabi’s $57 billion infrastructure initiative.

Accompanying Sheikh Khaled were senior officials from Abu Dhabi, including Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoon bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Jassem Mohamed Bu Ataba Al Zaabi, Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa, Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Saif Saeed Ghobash, and Maysarah Mahmoud Eid.
