Projects showcased included initiatives aimed at enhancing soil quality, conserving water, and using natural materials to address post-harvest crop damage. Sustainable systems integrating fish farming with vertical farming were also featured to align with the UAE's food security objectives.
The Ruler also explored initiatives in veterinary medicine and public health, particularly educational awareness surrounding antibiotic usage and its implications. Advanced training tools, covering laboratory simulations and 3D modeling technologies, were highlighted.
Additionally, His Highness visited the university's mobile veterinary clinic project, which aims to bolster students' practical skills in ethical animal care.
Future expansion projects at the university were also reviewed, including a modern theater with advanced facilities, classrooms, and multi-use halls.
Plans for a mosque that can accommodate 1,400 men and 450 women are also underway, reflecting the holistic development strategy.
