A significant humanitarian relief mission has taken off from Sharjah International Airport, successfully transporting 100 tonnes of crucial food supplies to the Gaza Strip, underscoring the UAE's dedication to ongoing relief efforts.

This initiative falls under the “Humaid Air Bridge”, supported by Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, in partnership with the humanitarian campaign Operation Chivalrous Knight 3.

According to aid officials, the primary goal of this initiative is to alleviate the overwhelming challenges faced by numerous families in Gaza as humanitarian conditions continue to deteriorate. The operation encompasses various support measures extending beyond merely food supplies.

Included in these initiatives is the establishment of a UAE field hospital and a floating hospital positioned in Egypt's Al Arish, which collectively offer 100 beds and are staffed by specialized medical personnel. Moreover, six desalination plants have been installed to ensure access to clean drinking water daily.

Officials have pointed out that the UAE’s total humanitarian contributions to Gaza have surpassed 122,000 tonnes, valued over $3 billion—demonstrating the scale and persistence of their aid.

Additionally, the International Charity Organisation is actively engaged with synchronized air and sea missions to deliver vital supplies to at-risk communities.

To further bolster these initiatives, an aid vessel carrying food and supplies exceeding AED 8 million is also being dispatched as part of Ajman’s humanitarian projects.

The UAE remains committed to enhancing its relief operations with integrated air and sea logistics, emphasizing its unwavering support for affected populations in Gaza during this ongoing crisis.
