The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance in Saudi Arabia has initiated the distribution of 194,680 religious books related to Hajj regulations aimed at assisting pilgrims arriving in the Kingdom. This initiative was facilitated by the ministry’s branch in the Makkah Region in collaboration with the Department of Mosques, Dawah and Guidance in Taif Governorate.
The distribution campaign spanned from the 9th of Dhu Al-Qadah to the 6th of Dhu Al-Hijjah, intended to provide Dawah and guidance services to pilgrims during this significant season.
According to the ministry, 45,405 copies were handed out at Taif International Airport, while the remaining 149,275 copies were distributed at the Miqat sites of Qarn Al-Manazil and Wadi Muharram.
These publications contained crucial information regarding Hajj rituals and regulations, designed to assist pilgrims in fulfilling their religious obligations correctly from their arrival in the Kingdom.
To cater to the diverse needs of pilgrims from various countries, the books were made available in multiple languages, including Arabic, Indonesian, Turkish, Urdu, Pashto, Russian, and English.
This effort underscores Saudi Arabia’s ongoing commitment to enhance services for pilgrims and foster religious awareness during the annual Hajj pilgrimage.
