Massive Turnout for UAE’s Run for the Nation Event

The “Run for the Nation” event saw an impressive turnout of over 25,000 participants from around the UAE, reflecting a deep sense of community, inclusivity, and social responsibility.

The festivities kicked off with a breathtaking aerial display by Fursan Al Emarat, which adorned the sky with the colors of the UAE flag. This captivating opening served as a powerful symbol of national pride, setting an uplifting tone for the run.

Beginning at Wahat Al Karama, a prominent national landmark, and concluding at Erth Abu Dhabi, the race conveyed a vital message about shared responsibilities in safeguarding the nation through awareness and solidarity.

Participants included individuals from all demographics: senior citizens, People of Determination, youth, families, and professional athletes. This diversity underscored the UAE’s commitment to inclusivity and national initiatives.

Mohammed Hilal Al Kaabi praised the initiative, noting it signifies the community's awareness and the strong bond individuals hold with their nation. He stressed that such events foster a culture of readiness, unity, and active involvement.

Following the run, families and participants gathered at a community village in Erth Abu Dhabi, which offered entertainment and activities aimed at promoting social interaction within a family-friendly setting.

This event was coordinated by the Zayed Charity Run Higher Organizing Committee in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council and received backing from various sponsors, including International Golden Group, Aldar, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Burjeel Holdings, Arabian Radio Network, and the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Centre.

The significant success of the Run for the Nation underlines its importance as a prominent national initiative, continuously uniting individuals, encouraging healthy lifestyles, and supporting Abu Dhabi’s vision for a cohesive and active community.
