Once a prominent figure in Bollywood with films such as Hungama, Dhoom, and Golmaal, Rimi Sen has made an impressive shift into Dubai's real estate market.
After stepping back from the film industry following her last project, Shagird, she recently opened up about her new pursuits in an interview with Buildcaps Real Estate LLC. Rimi expressed her appreciation for Dubai, stating, “95% of the population consists of expatriates, and the city is dedicated to improving lives and facilitating ease and comfort.”
She contrasted the real estate landscapes of Dubai and India, noting, “Here, the market operates with a level of discipline. Developers and realty agencies adhere to a structured system, simplifying business processes. In India, shifting regulations and constant taxation can be challenging to navigate.”
Rimi's insights into the role of real estate agents reveal a marked difference: in Dubai, they are regarded as financial advisors, while in India, requesting customary brokerage fees can be contentious.
She also addressed online speculation regarding her looks, clarifying that she has only opted for fillers, Botox, and PRP treatments. She remarked, “With these treatments and some discipline, anyone can maintain their appearance. If anyone feels I’m in the wrong, they can make suggestions to my doctors.”
Rimi Sen's transition from the film world to Dubai's real estate industry showcases her versatility and success, demonstrating she can shine in any arena.
