The National Scientific Research and Innovation Exhibition 2026, organized by Qatar’s Ministry of Education and Higher Education in partnership with the Qatar Research, Development and Innovation (QRDI) Council, has wrapped up successfully.
This year’s 18th edition, themed “Promising Researchers for Qatar,” took place at the Qatar National Convention Centre, drawing a significant crowd of students, educators, and experts. It underscored Qatar's commitment to advancing scientific inquiry and innovation.
With 2,971 participants from 249 schools, students showcased a remarkable 1,467 scientific research projects. The teachers were also heavily involved, as 672 educators submitted 616 action research projects focused on enhancing teaching approaches and educational practices.
At the event's conclusion, top officials from Qatar’s Ministry of Education, along with the QRDI Council, recognized the efforts of students, teachers, and collaborative partners who excelled in various research competitions across primary, preparatory, and secondary education.
Additionally, 10 student projects developed in collaboration with the Young Scientists Center received special recognition, emphasizing the crucial partnerships between educational establishments and aspiring young researchers.
Officials commended the impressive participation and project quality, asserting that the exhibition reflects the growing scientific acumen, creativity, and innovation among Qatar's youth, thereby supporting the nation’s broader educational and developmental objectives.
