Parkin Partners with DAMAC for 5-Year Management of 3,600 Parking Spaces

Post by : Bianca Hayes

Parkin Company PJSC has forged a significant five-year collaboration with DAMAC Properties, highlighting an important step in enhancing its parking management operations. This agreement will see Parkin oversee approximately 3,600 parking spaces within several of DAMAC’s high-profile residential and commercial developments across Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

The initiative aligns with Parkin’s vision to bolster its footprint in premium real estate sectors while facilitating smoother traffic and improved mobility for users. Notably, this marks Parkin’s entry into the Abu Dhabi parking market, complementing its established presence in Dubai.

As part of this project, Parkin will manage around 500 on-street parking spots in DAMAC Hills 1. Additionally, 2,700 parking spaces within 44 towers—spanning Downtown, DIFC, Dubai Marina, Business Bay, and Al Reem Island—will be integrated into Parkin’s unified management system. This encompasses some of the UAE’s most densely populated residential and commercial areas, where effective parking solutions are essential for residents, tenants, and visitors alike.

A key aspect of this rollout is the incorporation of digital systems. All newly managed facilities will connect with the Parkin app, allowing users to easily access visitor parking, permits, and various services through a single platform. This initiative aims to streamline everyday navigation and facilitate a more organized flow of both short-term and long-term parking within DAMAC’s developments.

Planning for the implementation phase is slated for Q1 2026, which will include the setup and synchronization of advanced technologies like access control, automatic number plate recognition, and enforcement systems. Parkin’s integrated technology framework seeks to boost operational efficiency and ensure reliable performance across all new locations.

Through this alliance, both parties affirm their commitment to fostering a modern, smart-city infrastructure that can keep up with the UAE’s expanding urban landscape, while ensuring user convenience and reliability.
