Tragic Discovery: Mother and Daughter Found Dead in Osaka

In a heartbreaking incident, two women were discovered deceased in an apartment situated in Izumi City, Osaka Prefecture, leading to a police inquiry into the events that transpired. The victims, aged 76 and 41, were identified as a mother and her daughter.

The grim finding occurred on Wednesday afternoon when a male family member, concerned after hearing from the daughter's workplace about her absence, decided to check on them.

Around 12:30 p.m., he entered the apartment only to find both women lying on the floor, unresponsive. He swiftly alerted emergency services, mentioning that they appeared to have sustained multiple injuries and were bleeding.

Emergency responders and police arrived shortly following the distress call. Unfortunately, both women were declared dead at the scene. Preliminary assessments indicate that the cause of their injuries might not be accidental, although authorities have withheld specific details for the time being.
