Brand Dubai, part of the Government of Dubai Media Office and the driving force behind the #HattaWinter initiative, has revealed significant involvement from local businesses at Hatta Festival 2025, which is set to feature more than 30 brands from the ‘Proudly from Dubai’ network.
Scheduled to take place from December 5, 2025, to January 20, 2026, Hatta Festival is one of six prime events under the #HattaWinter campaign, part of the broader Dubai Destinations agenda. The festival aims to promote locally sourced products, creative initiatives, and innovative ideas that showcase the authentic Emirati culture while providing an enriching cultural experience for visitors.
This year’s expanded lineup builds on the accomplishments from prior festivals and reflects Brand Dubai’s dedication to nurturing entrepreneurship, especially for small and medium enterprises. The initiative aims to create high-visibility opportunities at seasonal festivals, helping local brands connect with larger audiences and reinforce their market presence.
Amina Taher, a member of the #HattaWinter Initiative Organising Committee, emphasized that the festival’s impact reaches far beyond promoting Hatta as a winter tourist spot. She highlighted the economic benefits of enabling small businesses to showcase their quality products to diverse audiences, aligning with Dubai’s vision of fostering emerging enterprises and growth opportunities.
Taher noted that the supportive ecosystem in Dubai aids in transforming small local projects into internationally recognized brands. Strong visitor turnout since the festival's commencement on December 5 underlines rising consumer confidence and demand for local products.
Khawla Al Hashmi, also part of the organizing committee, remarked that Hatta Festival serves as a vital platform for new entrepreneurs to present their innovations to thousands from within the UAE and beyond. She stated that the event contributes significantly to enhancing Hatta’s local economy, which is increasingly recognized as a top tourist spot.
Moreover, Al Hashmi noted that the festival provides members of the ‘Proudly from Dubai’ network with the chance to introduce their creative products to a broad audience, highlighting the entrepreneurial spirit in both Dubai and Hatta. Brand Dubai remains committed to attracting new projects annually and fostering a nurturing environment for sustainable development.
As an exciting addition, Hatta Festival 2025 includes the ‘Hatta Little Trader’ initiative, allowing children to display their entrepreneurial skills alongside local creative ventures. This year features contributions from talents like Latifa Salem Al Bedwawi and Hamid Al Bloushi, showcasing a range of local artistic works.
Additionally, visitors can enjoy various innovative snacks and beverages from mobile food trucks positioned around Leem Lake. Over the years, Hatta Festival has transformed into a significant seasonal event, attracting thousands to enjoy winter activities while exploring locally produced items from the ‘Proudly from Dubai’ initiative.
The #HattaWinter initiative is executed by Brand Dubai in collaboration with key government entities, such as the Roads and Transport Authority, Dubai Municipality, and the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority. These collaborative efforts highlight Dubai's commitment to nurturing its creative economy while making Hatta a family-oriented destination that harmonizes nature, adventure, and local culture.
