The team behind Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2, starring the well-known comedian and actor Kapil Sharma, has revealed that the film will make a return to cinemas in January 2026. This decision follows positive feedback from audiences, despite facing difficulties during its initial release.
Directed by Anukalp Goswami, the comedy also includes Ayesha Khan, Tridha Choudhury, Warina Hussain, and Parul Gulati in significant roles. The film premiered on December 12 but saw limited screen availability due to stiff competition from other high-profile releases.
Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 tells the engaging tale of Mohan, portrayed by Kapil Sharma, who is eager to wed his girlfriend Sania. Yet, familial expectations and religious constraints thrust him into a complex scenario where he inadvertently marries three women—Meera, Ruhi, and Jenny—each representing a different faith and background. The film humorously navigates themes of social conventions, relationships, and the chaos of multiple marriages.
Despite its limited initial run, audience reception was largely favorable, especially highlighting Kapil Sharma's comedic finesse and the film's enjoyable narrative. Taking this into account, producer Ratan Jain has opted to relaunch the film in hopes of capturing a broader audience.
The film is a sequel to the successful 2015 title Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon, which marked Kapil Sharma's entry into Bollywood. The original film, directed by Abbas–Mustan, featured actresses Sai Lokur, Manjari Fadnis, Elli Avram, and Simran Kaur Mundi alongside Sharma and became a popular comedy.
With its impending return, the producers are optimistic that Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 will draw in more viewers and garner the recognition it deserved during its first showing.
