Andhra Pradesh is set to become the epicenter of seafood innovation with the launch of India’s inaugural AI-powered aquaculture technology park. Kings Infra Ventures Ltd has formalized a ₹2,500-crore partnership with the state government to create a sprawling 500-acre facility near Srikakulam, focused on sustainable practices and high-volume seafood production.
This park is designed to leverage cutting-edge AI solutions via Kings Infra’s exclusive operating system, BlueTechOS, facilitating streamlined oversight and operation across hatcheries, indoor farming setups, processing facilities, and a marine bio-actives sector. The initiative will cultivate a diverse array of species, such as shrimp, seabass, grouper, and tilapia, promoting continuous production and export capacity throughout the year.
Kings Infra is committing ₹500 crore towards essential infrastructure, research, and processing operations, with an additional ₹2,000 crore anticipated from supporting industries, renewable energy projects, and local enterprises benefiting from the park. Over the next five years, the initiative aims to equip 5,000 aquaculture professionals with vital skills needed for a tech-centric seafood industry.
This initiative underscores Andhra Pradesh’s reputation as India’s leading aquaculture-producing state and serves as a significant stride towards sustainable food production using modern technologies. The investment is poised to drive economic development, create jobs, and bolster export prospects.
Established in 1987, Kings Infra Ventures has expanded its operations in aquaculture, seafood exports, and infrastructure enhancement, reporting a substantial 22.36% increase in net profits to ₹4.24 crore in Q2 FY26, largely fueled by rising demands in European and Asian markets.
This park is anticipated to become a pivotal development, illustrating the potential of AI and modern infrastructure to transform India’s seafood sector while ensuring both environmental sustainability and operational efficiency.
