AD Ports Group has reached a significant milestone as its Khalifa Port Data Centre earns Tier IV Certification of Constructed Facility from the Uptime Institute, marking it as the first facility in the global trade and logistics arena to attain this top-level accreditation.

This certification is a testament to AD Ports Group's unwavering commitment to digital transformation and operational excellence. The Tier IV designation is exclusive to data centres that guarantee full fault tolerance, ensuring uninterrupted service even during unexpected outages or failures.

Situated at Khalifa Port, the Tier IV-certified data centre acts as the backbone of AD Ports Group's hybrid cloud framework, supporting essential services across over 50 nations. With a focus on utmost reliability, it delivers 99.995 percent availability and incorporates comprehensive redundancy in power, cooling, and network systems. The facility processes over 150 million digital transactions annually, ensuring seamless, secure, and efficient services for global supply chains.

Mohamed Jamal-Eddine, Group CIO at AD Ports Group, expressed that this achievement illustrates the organization's leading role in the digitalisation of global trade. He emphasized that the Tier IV-certified facility is not merely a technical feat but a strategic cornerstone, allowing the secure integration of cutting-edge technologies such as AI, IoT applications, blockchain, and Low Earth Orbit satellite services.
