The philanthropic arena in Dubai has been significantly enriched as Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor, Founder and Chairman of Al Habtoor Group, has generously donated five residential units from the prestigious Al Habtoor City to the Real Estate Developers’ Endowment initiative. This program, established in collaboration with the Dubai Land Department (DLD) and overseen by the Mohammed bin Rashid Global Centre for Endowment Consultancy (MBRGCEC), focuses on ensuring sustained charitable contributions throughout the UAE.

The units will be entirely managed by Al Habtoor Group, with the proceeds allocated each year to support humanitarian and social causes. The funding will assist initiatives in health, education, as well as support vulnerable populations including orphans, widows, and individuals with disabilities.

Al Habtoor highlighted the significance of endowments as enduring instruments for positive societal impact. “Our nation was founded on a culture of generosity. These endowments aim to serve the community and exemplify our commitment to UAE principles,” he stated.

This initiative showcases the escalating partnership between private enterprises and the endowment sector, encouraging real estate developers to play a proactive role in enhancing community welfare. It also strengthens the UAE’s mission to foster a giving culture and establish ongoing support for those in need.

Utilizing real estate assets as vehicles for charity, this program offers a consistent source of funding for meaningful projects, ensuring that contributions continue to positively influence the community for many years.

The Real Estate Developers’ Endowment stands as a prime example of how businesses can significantly influence social progress, showcasing that strategic charitable efforts align seamlessly with corporate responsibilities.
