The Dubai Future Forum 2025, marking its fourth edition, is set to take place in Dubai. This premier event will gather over 200 speakers alongside 2,500 attendees from 100+ international institutions, all hosted by the Dubai Future Foundation at the remarkable Museum of the Future. Over two dynamic days, the forum will delve into vital factors influencing the future of humanity through more than 70 keynotes, discussions, and engaging experiences.
This year's event revolves around five central themes: Examining the Unknown, Empowering Communities, Redefining Health, System Optimization, and Insights into Foresight, offering a comprehensive exploration of innovation, human advancement, and societal evolution.
Leading with Immersive Technologies
Participants will engage with AI-enhanced and XR-driven features, including virtual and augmented reality sessions, providing a close look at the cutting-edge of technology. Unique installations such as Future Botanica and Aura Forest merge digital ecosystems with the physical world, while VR experiences like The Art of Change and Keepers of the Forest delve into concepts of identity and traditional knowledge.
Day 1 Highlights
Khalfan Belhoul, CEO of Dubai Future Foundation, will kick off the forum with a keynote addressing global foresight and progress. Key sessions will explore themes such as “Cultivating a Regenerative Society,” “Long-Term Governance,” and debate topics around deciphering human consciousness and the future of healthcare. Concomitant panels will analyze emerging cultural, social, and economic trends, including market behaviors by 2035 and ocean innovation. The day will culminate in the Dubai Future Solutions – Prototypes for Humanity Awards, showcasing transformative solutions for global challenges.
Day 2 Highlights
The focus on the second day will shift towards urban development, nature, and creativity, beginning with a talk by Marwan Bin Ghalita exploring people-focused city designs. Talks such as “Future Living with Nature” will stress human creativity as an essential component for sustenance and wonder. Thematic dialogues will spotlight collaborative foresight, youth engagement, and the creation of inclusive futures. Workshops will address scenario planning and storytelling to empower communities.
Recognizing Innovation
The event will also feature Dubai Future Solutions 2025, showcasing the top 100 innovations sourced from over 3,000 global entries, with five projects earmarked for development. The first-ever Dubai Foresight Awards will commend visionary innovators and solutions benefiting humanity, alongside the Future Stories Awards recognizing authors influencing future thinkers. For the first time, a dedicated Book Corner will host launches and signings, spotlighting literature on foresight from around the globe.
Learning Days
Before the forum, Learning Days scheduled for November 17 and 20 will address pressing issues including global security, strategic philanthropy, wearable technologies, urban resilience, and the media's future, merging research with actionable foresight.
