In a significant initiative coinciding with World Children’s Day, Boston Children’s Hospital has partnered with Dubai Health to advance pediatric healthcare in Dubai. This collaboration was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), reflecting a joint commitment to excellence in clinical care, research, education, and philanthropy focused on children.

The agreement was officially signed by Dr. Ryan Nagy, President and COO of Boston Children’s Hospital, alongside Dr. Mohamed Al Awadhi, Executive Director of the Dubai Health Women and Children’s Campus, which encompasses Al Jalila Children’s Hospital, Latifa Hospital, and the Dubai Fertility Centre. This MOU outlines a foundation for collective efforts aimed at enhancing pediatric services within Dubai Health’s network.

The Boston Children’s Hospital team included leading experts from healthcare, law, and surgery, who interacted with Dubai Health executives to discuss integrated pediatric care strategies, knowledge sharing, and collaborative research. The visit helped unveil Dubai Health's academic health framework and pinpoint potential areas for future joint initiatives.

This partnership aspires to uplift the quality of pediatric care while extending training for healthcare providers, fostering research and innovation, and initiating philanthropic efforts to benefit the broader community. The two organizations underscored the partnership's promising long-term prospects, aiming to establish new standards in child healthcare both regionally and globally.

By merging Boston Children’s Hospital’s extensive experience in pediatric services with Dubai Health’s cutting-edge facilities and integrated healthcare model, this collaboration is set to improve health outcomes and assist families throughout the region.
