Pak's Heinous Acts of Aggression No Surprise from Country Bombing Its Own People India At UN

India strongly criticized Pakistan during a recent United Nations discussion, saying Pakistan’s alleged “heinous acts” of aggression were not surprising coming from a country that has “bombed its own people.” The sharp remarks were made by India’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Ambassador Parvathaneni Harish, during a debate linked to international peace and security concerns.

India accused Pakistan of continuing to support terrorism and destabilizing activities in the region while also trying to present itself as a victim before the international community. During the speech, Ambassador Harish said Pakistan has a long history of violence, extremism, and attacks within its own borders. He stated that a country involved in military operations against its own population cannot lecture others on peace or human rights.

The Indian diplomat’s comments came after Pakistan raised concerns at the United Nations regarding recent regional tensions and security issues connected to Kashmir and cross-border conflict. India rejected Pakistan’s statements and repeated its position that terrorism remains the biggest threat to peace in South Asia. New Delhi has consistently accused Islamabad of sheltering and supporting extremist groups operating against India.

India also referred to Pakistan’s internal military operations in areas such as Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where Pakistani security forces have faced criticism over airstrikes and armed crackdowns against militant and separatist groups. Indian representatives argued that Pakistan cannot ignore its own domestic conflicts while criticizing neighboring countries on international platforms.

The exchange highlighted continuing tensions between the two nuclear-armed neighbors. Relations between India and Pakistan have remained strained for years over issues including Kashmir, border security, terrorism, and diplomatic disputes. Recent military incidents and political statements from both sides have further increased tensions in the region.

International observers say both countries continue using global forums like the United Nations to defend their positions and challenge each other diplomatically. Despite repeated calls from world powers for dialogue and stability in South Asia, relations between New Delhi and Islamabad remain highly sensitive and politically charged.
