Imam Al-Hudhaifi's Arafah Sermon Promotes Unity at Namirah Mosque

Today at Namirah Mosque, Sheikh Ali Al-Hudhaifi, the Imam of the Prophet’s Mosque, delivered a significant sermon during Arafah that drew a large crowd of pilgrims and distinguished officials.

Emphasizing Hajj as a fundamental pillar of Islam, Sheikh Al-Hudhaifi spoke on the necessity of pure monotheism and total submission to Allah. He noted that this pilgrimage is a vital occasion for fostering unity, cooperation, and a spirit of understanding among Muslims worldwide.

He underscored the importance of exemplary conduct during Hajj, advising against falsehoods, avoiding sins, and steering clear of conflicts and political rhetoric. Sheikh Al-Hudhaifi called for discipline, advocating for calmness and adherence to crowd management protocols for everyone's safety.

The sermon delved into essential Islamic teachings, urging attendees to fear Allah and follow divine guidance diligently. He outlined the orderly progression of Hajj rituals while stressing the need for peace and decorum throughout the journey.

Closing the sermon, he prayed for the acceptance of pilgrims’ Hajj, the solidarity of the Muslim community, and ongoing success in the leadership of Saudi Arabia in the stewardship of the Two Holy Mosques.

Following the sermon, pilgrims unified in performing the Dhuhr and Asr prayers in a shortened form, as per Islamic tradition.
