The inaugural World Sports Summit, organized by the Dubai Sports Council under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, successfully concluded in Dubai.
Under the theme “Uniting the World Through Sport,” this summit marked the largest gathering of sports leaders, welcoming over 1,500 participants including sports officials, club presidents, and celebrated athletes whose achievements motivate millions worldwide.
Over the two-day event, 70 distinguished speakers conveyed insights on various topics, including innovation, investment, athlete development, governance, and the future of sports worldwide.

His Excellency Khalfan Juma Belhoul, Vice Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council, noted the summit's success in uniting sports leaders from nearly 50 countries. Supported by His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the aim was to strengthen partnerships and legislation that empower communities through sports.
He highlighted the crucial role sports play in enhancing understanding among nations and fostering a collaborative future.

The entry of Dubai Basketball Club into European competitions was highlighted during the EuroLeague basketball session, with discussions centered on ambition and international integration.
