Emirates Debuts Eye-Catching UAE Flag Design on Airbus A380

Emirates has introduced a stunning new livery that prominently displays the UAE flag on its renowned Airbus A380 aircraft. This eye-catching design features a large UAE flag extending across both sides of the plane, presented in a vibrant 3D effect, representing the unity, pride, and aspirations of the United Arab Emirates.

The special livery has been applied to aircraft A6-EVG as part of Emirates’ 'This Flag Will Always Fly' initiative. This campaign supports a nationwide call from Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, urging residents and citizens to proudly raise the UAE flag, symbolizing national unity and togetherness.

Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum emphasized Emirates' commitment to reflecting the nation’s strength and solidarity. Historically, every Emirates aircraft has featured the UAE flag on its tail, and this new design serves as a tribute to a country that is a beacon of growth and success.

The airline stated that the newly decorated aircraft has already flown to destinations like New York and Brisbane, with plans to showcase the UAE flag to passengers worldwide as it travels across the Emirates network.

Looking ahead, Emirates announced plans to extend this UAE flag design to its Boeing 777 fleet in the near future.

The UAE flag has always been integral to Emirates' identity, featuring on every aircraft in its fleet. The airline has a tradition of unveiling various special liveries to commemorate significant national events.

In 2017, Emirates rolled out a special aircraft design that honored Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan for the 'Year of Zayed', and also introduced multiple liveries celebrating Expo 2020 Dubai during that time.
