Dubai Humanitarian Dispatches 22.3 Tonnes of Medical Supplies to Gaza

Following the guidance of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, a significant humanitarian aid shipment has been organized by Dubai Humanitarian for Gaza.

Utilizing its Global Humanitarian Impact Fund (GHIF), the entity coordinated a land delivery of 22.3 metric tonnes of crucial medical supplies. This convoy, made up of three trucks, carries life-saving aid from the World Health Organization, intended to meet immediate healthcare needs for around 110,000 individuals affected by the crisis.

Giuseppe Saba, CEO and Board Member of Dubai Humanitarian, reaffirmed the organization’s dedication despite global hurdles. He noted that disruptions in supply chains haven’t impeded their mission, as collaborative efforts with partners facilitate the prompt delivery of essential aid to communities in distress.

Moreover, he highlighted that Dubai Humanitarian is actively mobilizing resources while utilizing its Global Humanitarian Impact Fund to efficiently deliver assistance, even under challenging conditions.

Since the onset of this year, international humanitarian entities working through Dubai Humanitarian have provided support to over 40 nations. Strong partnerships with governmental bodies, humanitarian agencies, and commercial stakeholders have enabled the leveraging of advanced multimodal logistics to maintain global humanitarian supply chains.

Dubai continually enhances its role as a premier global hub for humanitarian response, ensuring that essential aid reaches those in need quickly and efficiently.
