During his visit to the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), accompanied by Abdulla Al Basti, Secretary General of The Executive Council of Dubai, he reviewed the return to in-person learning for private schools across the emirate.
More than 150,000 students have re-entered over 450 educational institutions, all of which are adhering to stringent safety protocols and high levels of preparedness.
Sheikh Hamdan affirmed that people are the cornerstone of development and crucial for national advancement. He noted that education is vital in shaping capable individuals, nurturing national identity, and equipping future generations with essential skills.
He commended the dedication of KHDA personnel, educators, and the broader educational community, specifically praising teachers for fostering high-caliber learning environments under diverse conditions.
During the visit, Aisha Abdulla Miran, General Director of KHDA, updated Sheikh Hamdan on the developments of the second year of Dubai's Education 33 (E33) Strategy, which aims to cultivate a future-ready and student-centric educational landscape.
Sheikh Hamdan also engaged with members of the Dubai Students Council, considering their insights. He evaluated 20 significant initiatives under the E33 Strategy dedicated to enhancing the educational journey.
These initiatives focus on fortifying the Arabic language and Emirati heritage, boosting parental engagement, and developing students' life skills. Programs such as ‘All Rise’ and ‘Teach in Dubai’ seek to attract top-tier educators, while the ‘Future Astrolabe’ initiative guides students in their career choices.
The E33 Strategy further champions lifelong learning, aspiring to mold confident, skilled, and value-oriented students prepared to tackle global challenges and contribute meaningfully to Dubai's future.
