Abu Dhabi Boosts UK Tourism Through New Travel Partnerships

Post by : Bianca Hayes

Abu Dhabi is aiming to expand its presence in the UK tourism sector with a series of new partnerships set to elevate the city’s global image. The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) has signed eight significant agreements with top UK travel agencies during the World Travel Market in London, one of the largest events in the travel industry.

This initiative underscores Abu Dhabi’s commitment to long-term tourism growth, providing UK travelers seamless access to its diverse array of attractions, accommodations, and experiences. The partnerships focus on connecting first-time visitors, returning tourists, and prospective travelers with the emirate's exceptional offerings, ensuring it remains a premier destination.

The deals include partnerships with Southall Travel, Luxury Holidays, Best At Travel, Destination2, Kenwood Travel, Elevate, DialAFlight, and loveholidays. Each was chosen based on its proficiency in various market segments—ranging from family trips and romantic getaways to luxury travel—aligning with the goals of the Abu Dhabi Tourism Strategy 2030.

Through collaboration with these travel experts, Abu Dhabi seeks to enhance its visibility within travel packages and online booking platforms throughout the UK. This initiative positions the emirate as more than just a luxury getaway, but as a diverse travel destination catering to all visitors year-round.

This effort is a component of DCT Abu Dhabi’s larger strategy aimed at fostering sustainable tourism development, ensuring sector resilience, and recognizing the vital role that international visitors play in the local economy.
