Crown Prince of Ajman Explores ‘Make in the Emirates’ Initiative

Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, the Crown Prince of Ajman, led a delegation to the ‘Make in the Emirates’ platform, joined by key officials such as Sheikh Hamid and Sheikh Rashid bin Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi.

During the visit, His Highness received insights from Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber about pivotal national initiatives aiming to enhance the UAE’s industrial landscape. These projects are designed to promote sustainable growth and bolster global competitiveness.

The tour included a visit to the EDGE Group pavilion, where the Crown Prince examined cutting-edge defence technologies, as well as the UAE Cybersecurity Council pavilion, gaining insights into national cybersecurity strategies to safeguard digital infrastructure.

Sheikh Ammar underscored the UAE leadership's commitment to advancing the industrial sector, stressing the importance of nurturing local industries and crafting an enabling environment for innovation and growth.

He remarked that the 'Make in the Emirates' platform exemplifies the nation’s industrial development, propelled by a strategic vision to establish a sustainable industrial framework on a global scale.

Furthermore, he indicated that national industry has emerged as a cornerstone of economic diversification, illustrating the robust adaptability of the UAE economy to shifting global paradigms.

The platform serves a critical role in fostering industrial expansion by empowering local enterprises, stimulating innovation, and drawing in fresh investments, thereby reinforcing the UAE's stature as a pivotal global industrial center.

The fifth 'Make in the Emirates' event spans over 1,245 exhibiting companies across 12 sectors and is anticipated to attract approximately 120,000 attendees, including investors, manufacturers, policymakers, and industry leaders from around the globe.
