The Organising Committee for Liwa International Festival 2026 has kicked off a thorough safety awareness campaign in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Police, the Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority, and the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, underscoring its dedication to the safety of attendees and seamless operations throughout the festival.

This initiative aims to enhance public awareness, bolster emergency readiness, and create a safe environment for all participants, attendees, and staff during the event. Organisers highlighted that this proactive strategy focuses on crowd safety, especially amid the high-energy activities that are expected to draw large crowds.

As part of the initiative, essential guidance will be available regarding safety measures, emergency protocols, and on-site support services throughout the festival grounds. Special response units from partnering organisations will be positioned to manage incidents efficiently and deliver immediate assistance when necessary.

A vital aspect of the initiative is the distribution of safety helmets to participants, promoting responsible involvement and minimizing injury risks during festival activities. Officials emphasized that this measure highlights the significance of personal protective equipment in elevating overall event safety.

The safety campaign also features awareness materials, prominent signage, and direct interaction with attendees to keep them informed about emergency entrances, medical services, and support resources.

Festival organisers stated that the partnership among security, emergency, and humanitarian organisations sets a powerful standard for event safety, ensuring that Liwa International Festival 2026 offers a fun, well-organized, and secure experience for all participants.
