On Monday night, the Al Majaz Amphitheatre buzzed with excitement as renowned Arab singers Tamer Ashour and Wael Jassar graced the stage, captivating audiences from all around the UAE. The night was infused with vibrant energy, marking another successful event in the “Let’s Majaz” season and highlighting the venue’s significance as a prime site for cultural festivities.

Both artists shared their appreciation for the enthusiastic Sharjah audience, acknowledging the emirate's pivotal role in hosting high-profile entertainment and cultural events.

Kicking off the evening, Tamer Ashour delivered a robust performance featuring his beloved hits. Beginning with “Hekayat,” he effortlessly navigated through classic tracks, igniting excitement among concert-goers with songs like “Asr Ba’eed,” “Al Rak Ala Al Neyya,” and “Hagi Al Nafsi.” Ashour powered through a high-energy set that encompassed hits like “Yah,” “Teslam,” “Beit Kabir,” and “Makrahtehosh,” culminating in a nostalgic medley of “Metwahshana” and “Kan Mawdoa.” He wrapped up his performance with compelling numbers like “Ohololo Samah,” “Eftera’na,” “Kont Fein,” and “B’aoul Aadi,” leaving fans yearning for his finale, “Haygeli Mawgou.”

Next, Wael Jassar brought his distinct tarab essence to the stage. Opening with a blend of timeless classics, he fostered an immediate connection with fans, transitioning from “Ghareeb El Nas” to “Kol Waad,” prompting waves of applause and sing-alongs. Continuing with fan favorites such as “Betwashesheeni,” “Mawgoua,” “Msheet Khalas,” “Malyoun Ahebbak,” and “Mahma Ye’oolo,” Jassar's performance turned particularly heartfelt with his rendition of “100 Ehsas.” He honored the golden age of Arabic music with “Alf Leila wa Leila,” wrapping up the night with “Hasaret Kol El Nas,” “Nekhabi Leh,” and “Halleni,” inciting cheers for more tunes.
