Al Ain celebrated a vibrant showcase of culture and sport as the inaugural Al Ain International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (AAIHEX) launched at the ADNEC Centre, set to run until 30 November. Esteemed figures, including His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, came to explore the various attractions of the exhibition.

Covering 24,000 square meters and hosting 873 exhibitors from 12 different nations, AAIHEX offered an impressive array of hunting gear, falconry, equestrian activities, camels, saluki dogs, camping products, and adventure tourism insights. The event also shone a spotlight on local arts, handmade crafts, and cultural traditions, underlining the UAE's dedication to preserving its rich heritage.

During their visit, the Sheikhs interacted with representatives from various national and global firms, witnessing innovations in traditional sports gear and cutting-edge technologies. Notably, Emirati participation was robust, comprising 88% of exhibitors, thus reinforcing the exhibition as a crucial venue for local brands to achieve both regional and international visibility.

The expo boasted 11 primary sectors, covering veterinary products, outdoor and 4x4 gear, environmental conservation, mobile homes, and safari adventures. Attendees enjoyed more than 20 live events, including traditional cooking contests, Arabic coffee workshops, showcases of Emirati hospitality, and folk performances like Al-Yowla and Al-Tabbah, providing enriching cultural experiences.

With its perfect fusion of tradition and innovation, AAIHEX has swiftly positioned itself as a significant event in Al Ain, aligning with the city’s designation as the Gulf Capital of Tourism 2025. This exhibition not only honors national customs but also creates an exceptional platform for enthusiasts, professionals, and enterprises to connect and exchange expertise in traditional sports and lifestyle activities.
