In a significant step for Dubai’s tech landscape, Dubai Holding and Palantir Technologies have announced a new joint venture called Aither — marking Palantir’s first formal business venture in the UAE.

The pact was finalised in Dubai with His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Holding, and His Excellency Mohamed bin Hadi Al Hussaini, Minister of State for Financial Affairs, in attendance. The agreement was signed on behalf of Dubai Holding by Group CEO Amit Kaushal and by Palantir’s Executive Vice President Noam Perski.

18 months of groundwork

This venture builds on roughly 18 months of collaboration during which Dubai Holding integrated Palantir’s AI and data tools across its businesses. The partnership reportedly delivered quicker decision cycles, improved operational efficiency and clearer data insights across sectors such as real estate, hospitality, finance and infrastructure, supporting names like Nakheel, Meraas and Jumeirah.

Scaling a national AI backbone

Aither aims to extend those capabilities more broadly across the UAE, positioning itself as a central AI platform for both government and private organisations. The joint venture seeks to help institutions adopt AI-driven operations and uncover new avenues for economic value.

Fueling Dubai’s digital economy goals

The initiative aligns with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which targets AED 100 billion annually from digital transformation. By localising advanced AI solutions, Aither plans to transfer technical expertise, upskill Emirati professionals and introduce governance frameworks to ensure responsible use of AI across industries.

Working in concert with the UAE’s broader digital transformation and diversification strategies, Aither is presented as a milestone in embedding enterprise-grade AI across the region — converting tested innovations into a platform for nationwide progress.
