AI Workshop at Dubai Press Club Enriches Media Creators

Dubai: The Dubai Press Club (DPC) hosted an enlightening session in its new series of ‘Media Workshops’, concentrating on the increasing influence of artificial intelligence in the realm of media and digital content creation. Named ‘Artificial Intelligence… Simplified’, the workshop was led by Emirati content creator Ebrahim Bolehyool and attracted media professionals eager to enhance their skills.

This workshop delved into how AI is reshaping the media landscape, enabling professionals to generate text, images, and videos with greater efficiency. Attendees exchanged insights on practical applications of AI tools, recognizing their significance in contemporary content production.

Maryam Al Mulla, the Director of Dubai Press Club, remarked on AI’s burgeoning prominence on a global scale due to its rapid advancements. She noted that the session aimed to equip media professionals with a clear and actionable understanding of how AI tools can enhance their creative endeavors.

She further emphasized the Dubai Press Club's commitment to staying abreast of the latest trends influencing the media sector while fostering a collaborative environment for knowledge sharing among journalists and tech experts.

During the event, Ebrahim Bolehyool shared his journey with generative AI technologies in creating impactful visual content focused on community awareness. He explained the workings of AI systems in straightforward terms, highlighting their reliance on data, algorithms, and neural networks to analyze information and produce content swiftly.

Participants were introduced to various popular AI tools and platforms, such as Google Gemini, OpenAI ChatGPT, Anthropic Claude, and ElevenLabs. Conversations centered on how these tools could elevate creative output and assist creators in transforming concepts into engaging visual and auditory content tailored for diverse audiences.

Bolehyool also stressed the importance of viewing artificial intelligence not as a substitute for human ingenuity but as a catalyst for enhanced creativity.
