Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Enhances Skills at FDIC US Event

The Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority recently took part in the FDIC International conference in the United States, bolstering its international collaboration and sharing expertise with prominent civil defence and firefighting organizations globally.

FDIC International is recognized as one of the premier events centered on firefighting, rescue, and emergency services, gathering worldwide experts and leaders to enhance coordination and knowledge exchange in safety operations.

At this significant event, the Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority completed an impressive 74 advanced field training courses while engaging in 200 workshops and training sessions. This involvement underscores its dedication to nurturing national talent, improving operational readiness, and embracing cutting-edge international firefighting and emergency management practices.

Additionally, the authority participated in a specialized seminar comprising four focused sessions aimed at enhancing emergency response effectiveness and managing fire incidents in mid- and high-rise structures utilizing modern prevention technologies.

Moreover, a targeted training program was implemented to bolster leadership capabilities in emergency response. This initiative also facilitated the exchange of best practices concerning rescue operations, firefighting strategies, emergency medical services, and civil protection.

The Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority reiterated its steadfast dedication to refining its operational frameworks, expanding strategic alliances, and fortifying institutional readiness to ensure the safety of lives and properties throughout the emirate.
