Interest Grows in ₹500 Biogas Cylinder Offering

Post by : Shakul

A recent claim about a ₹500 gobar gas (biogas) cylinder is capturing the attention of many across India, fueling discussions about sustainable and affordable energy options. The price proposed for an 18 kg biogas cylinder has piqued the interest of consumers searching for economical ways to meet their energy needs.

Biogas, generated from cow dung and organic material, is already being advocated under schemes like GOBARdhan. It is viewed as a green fuel source that not only diminishes reliance on LPG but also yields organic fertilizer as a valuable by-product.

Nevertheless, experts have pointed out that most biogas systems currently function through static plants and pipeline systems rather than using portable cylinders akin to those for LPG. They recommend exercising caution and verifying claims about readily available biogas cylinders from official resources.

The rising interest in biogas signifies a wider transition toward sustainable energy in India, particularly in light of escalating fuel prices and a growing consciousness regarding environmental preservation.
