By the guidance of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, officials have unveiled the details of the 33rd UAE President’s Cup for Purebred Arabian Horses, signifying a major leap in the international equestrian arena.
With a total prize purse exceeding AED20 million, the 2026 edition solidifies its position as the pinnacle of Arabian horse racing worldwide. This year's expansion follows last year's success, which featured 354 horses and drew in over 400,000 attendees at major international tracks. In addition, the event's digital reach exceeded 500 million views globally.
Global Circuit Featuring 19 Renowned Racing Locations
This year's schedule includes an extensive international circuit designed to support breeders and horse owners while elevating the prominence of Purebred Arabians globally. The tour kicks off in Tunisia on April 19, with crucial stops such as the United States at Churchill Downs on April 30 and in France on May 10.
The racing calendar spreads through Europe, with events planned in Sweden, Italy, Morocco, Germany, the Netherlands, and the UK at Newbury and Doncaster. Additional locations include Spain, Belgium, Türkiye, Russia, and Poland, showcasing the Cup's increasing global appeal.
New Developments in the Arab World and Finale in Saudi Arabia
An exciting update includes the series' further extension into the Arab region, with new venues in Syria, Libya, and Egypt. The season will culminate in a grand finale set for November 20 in Saudi Arabia.
