In a thrilling performance, Sai Sudharsan dismantled criticism with a masterful innings for Tamil Nadu during the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy Super League against Saurashtra on Monday at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi Stadium. Under scrutiny for his recent Test form, the young batsman rose to the occasion when it mattered most.

Despite struggles from other team members, as only three batters managed to reach double-digit scores, Sudharsan remained poised and finished with an impressive unbeaten 101 runs off just 55 balls. His stellar innings led Tamil Nadu to chase down Saurashtra's target of 184, showcasing his ability to perform under pressure.

At just 24, the Chennai native has had a rocky patch, having been moved up to the No. 3 spot in the Indian Test lineup.
