In a significant meeting at Carthage Palace in Tunis, President Kais Saied of Tunisia welcomed Qais Mohammed Al Yousef, Oman’s Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion. The Minister's visit coincides with the Omani-Tunisian Economic Forum, focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation. He conveyed warm greetings from His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, extending wishes for success and good health to the Tunisian leader. Additionally, the Sultan sent his best for Tunisia’s ongoing progress and prosperity.
Expressing gratitude, President Kais Saied requested the Minister to pass on his regards to His Majesty the Sultan and wished the people of Oman continued growth. Both leaders emphasized the necessity of fortifying economic relations across various sectors. They deliberated on activating joint efforts to boost trade exchanges, broaden investment avenues, and foster deeper economic collaboration between their countries.
Furthermore, the discussions included strategies for enhancing investment partnerships, advancing industrial cooperation, and identifying new opportunities for trade expansion. Notable attendees included Dr. Hilal Abdullah Al Sinani, Oman’s Ambassador to Tunisia, and Rashid Amer Al Muselhi, First Deputy Chairman of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Board. The dialogue highlighted the mutual interest of both nations in cultivating a robust and productive relationship that promises long-term regional development and benefits for both sides.
