New Zealand Triumphs Over West Indies, Clinches Series

In a remarkable display, New Zealand triumphed over West Indies by 323 runs in the decisive third Test held at Mount Maunganui, thereby sealing a 2-0 series win. With a commanding first-innings lead of 155 runs, the home team set an imposing target of 462 runs for the West Indies to chase.

The bowling duo of Jacob Duffy and Ajaz Patel exhibited exceptional skill, with Duffy taking five wickets for a mere 42 runs and Patel contributing three for just 23 runs. Their efforts dismantled the West Indies batting order, which folded for only 138 runs during the last session at Bay Oval.

Brandon King stood out for the visitors, scoring a resilient 67 and establishing an opening partnership of 87 with John Campbell. However, following King's dismissal, the West Indies struggled to find stability, with Campbell scoring only 16, underscoring their batting woes.
