In an electrifying encounter in Greece, Real Madrid staged a stunning comeback against Olympiacos, with Kylian Mbappe delivering an unforgettable performance, netting four goals, including the second fastest hat-trick in UEFA Champions League history. Overcoming an early deficit, the Spanish giants secured a thrilling 4-3 victory, marking their first win in five attempts at this venue and ending a three-match winless streak.

The match kicked off with Olympiacos taking the lead early on, as Chiquinho found the back of the net in the eighth minute. Coach Xabi Alonso expressed pride in his team’s composure under pressure, recognizing the significance of breaking their winless streak: “The important thing was to win, to break the cycle, to feel that feeling. The three points were also important to be in the top eight. It was competitive and hard-fought, but we needed it. In the Champions League, there are moments for everything, just like in the league. I really liked that at 1-0 we didn't lose our heads, we played calmly and maturely and turned it around. We are back to winning ways, and we won in Greece for the first time.”
