Lava Agni 4: A Game Changer for Mid-Range Smartphones in India

Lava is preparing to introduce the Agni 4 to the Indian market, set to cost under ₹30,000. This smartphone aims to offer a blend of premium aesthetics and high performance tailored for mid-range consumers. In a pioneering initiative, Lava will launch a Demo@Home event from November 20 to 24, allowing selected users in Bengaluru, Delhi, and Mumbai to experience the device in the comfort of their homes, guided by Lava’s technical experts.

The Agni 4 boasts a stylish aluminium alloy chassis paired with a matte AG glass back, featuring sleek 1.7 mm bezels. Available in Phantom Black and Lunar Mist White, its design not only enhances durability but also promises a comfortable grip.

Powering the device is the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 5G processor (4nm, up to 3.35GHz), achieving over 1.4 million on AnTuTu (V10). It includes 8GB of RAM (expandable to 16GB), 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage, and a 4300 mm² vapor-chamber cooling solution alongside a dedicated Game Booster feature for optimal performance.

The smartphone offers a vibrant 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 2400 nits, 10-bit color depth, and an impressive pixel density of 446 PPI, ensuring vibrant visuals even in bright outdoor settings.

For photography lovers, the Agni 4 features a robust 50MP primary rear camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, and another 50MP front-facing camera. Both the front and rear camera setups can record in 4K at 60fps, augmented by AI-driven scene recognition and enhancements such as skin-tone adjustments and Dual View Video capabilities.

Designed with durability in mind, the Agni 4 carries an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance, features Corning Gorilla Glass, and has wet-touch technology, making it resilient to an hour of rainfall. Additionally, a programmable Action Key with more than 100 shortcuts adds an element of convenience for users.

Lava supports the Agni 4 with its Agni Promise, which guarantees doorstep replacements for any manufacturing flaws, ensures no bloatware, promises three years of Android updates along with four years of security patches, and offers continuous software improvements for a dependable user journey.
