Emirates Launches Premium Economy on Dubai-Beirut & Beijing Routes

Emirates is set to enhance travel comfort with the introduction of its retrofitted Boeing 777 aircraft featuring Premium Economy, commencing flights to Beirut on 6 January 2026 and Beijing on 1 February 2026.

This will be the first time Beirut passengers experience Emirates' acclaimed Premium Economy along with a newly designed Business Class cabin in a 1-2-1 layout. Flight EK953 departs Dubai at 15:40, reaching Beirut by 17:00. The return journey, EK954, takes off at 19:45 and lands in Dubai at 00:50. The schedule allows smooth connections to cities with large Lebanese communities including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, New York, Los Angeles, Boston, Chicago, Miami, and Montreal, ensuring a premium experience.

For Beijing, Flight EK306 leaves Dubai at 03:20 and arrives at 14:45. The return, EK307, departs at 00:40, arriving back in Dubai by 05:30. Premium Economy services will be available to major locations like London, New York, São Paulo, Johannesburg, Madrid, Malé, Lisbon, and key Gulf cities such as Kuwait, Riyadh, and Amman.

The upgraded four-class Boeing 777 features 260 new-generation Economy seats, 24 Premium Economy seats, 40 Business Class seats organized in a 1-2-1 layout, and eight First Class Suites. The interiors boast modern designs with Ghaf Tree motifs, wooden finishes, and a fresh color scheme.

Those traveling in Premium Economy will benefit from spacious leather seating that offers excellent recline, ample leg and footrests, adjustable headrests, wood-finished cocktail tables, 13.3-inch screens, in-seat charging ports, and premium amenities including Chandon Vintage Brut 2017 sparkling wine. Business Class has been optimized for comfort and privacy, featuring soft champagne leather seats and ergonomic support.

These enhancements underscore Emirates’ commitment to integrating luxury, comfort, and accessibility, assuring passengers a consistently high-quality experience across its global flight network.
