In a transformative move towards the digital future, the UAE has launched a pioneering initiative to enhance government services through artificial intelligence, as His Highness Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum presided over the national Agentic AI Retreat in Abu Dhabi.
This significant gathering, held under the guidance of His Highness Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, convened over 400 ministers, senior officials, and media representatives to brainstorm on AI's role in future governance in the UAE.
Accompanied by His Highness Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid emphasized the government’s ambition to leverage technology to enhance public services and uplift citizen experiences.
The UAE Government unveiled comprehensive strategies aimed at embedding Agentic AI solutions into everyday operations, with a bold goal of transforming half of government services into AI-enabled frameworks within the next two years, consolidating its position as a global front-runner in AI and digital governance.

The Procurement AI Agent is set to optimize sourcing strategies, while the Tax Auditing AI Agent will improve compliance checks and reduce audit delays. The Customer Happiness AI Agent aims to expedite public support access, enhancing service quality, and the Technical Support AI Agent will facilitate more efficient IT problem resolutions.
The event also included specialized workshops aimed at preparing government leaders for the future of Agentic AI adoption across varying sectors. Additionally, participants celebrated the graduation of the sixth cohort from the Federal Artificial Intelligence Programme.
In an inspiring keynote, His Excellency Sultan Al Jaber shed light on ADNOC's AI transformation journey, announcing the launch of ENERGYai—a platform connecting AI agents across the energy sector.
Al Jaber noted that ADNOC currently utilizes over 115 AI agents in crucial domains such as HR, finance, and auditing, with 20,000 employees trained to implement AI models effectively.
His Excellency Omar Sultan Al Olama contributed insights into how Agentic AI is revolutionizing government operations, positing that nations adopting AI promptly will secure a competitive edge globally.
