A tragic incident unfolded in New Delhi on Wednesday when a devastating fire at a hotel left 21 people dead and over 40 injured, according to officials from Delhi Police.

The inferno erupted in the morning at Flourish Stay, a bed-and-breakfast in a busy area of south Delhi. Emergency crews promptly arrived, launching efforts to rescue those trapped as flames swept through the premises.

According to the police, 21 individuals lost their lives in this heartbreaking event. Rescue and search operations persisted throughout the day, with teams dedicated to ensuring no one was left inside.
