B.C. Woman Snaps Selfie With Adam Sandler at restaurant

A British Columbia woman had an unexpected and exciting moment when she met Hollywood actor Adam Sandler at a restaurant in Squamish. The moment quickly gained attention online after she shared a selfie with the popular actor.

Angie Vazquez, a local real estate agent, was having dinner at Pepe's Chop House on March 25 when she noticed Sandler dining at the same place. Excited by the rare encounter, she approached him and managed to take a selfie outside the restaurant.

She later shared the photo on her Facebook account, describing the experience as a “cool moment.” Her post quickly gained attention, receiving hundreds of likes and reactions from people who were equally excited to see the actor in the area. She also jokingly suggested convincing Sandler to move to Squamish, adding a light and personal touch to the moment.

Sandler is currently in British Columbia for work. He is preparing to film a new Netflix movie titled Timeout, alongside actor Willem Dafoe. The film is a remake of the 2001 French movie L’Emploi Du Temps and focuses on a man who hides the truth about his life, leading to a complex and emotional story.

The upcoming film is being directed by Scott Cooper and is expected to begin filming at the end of March. Production is scheduled to continue until late May, although exact filming locations in the Vancouver area have not been officially confirmed.

This is not the first time Sandler has visited the region. He has previously spent time in British Columbia for both film projects and live performances. His connection to the area, along with its popularity as a filming location, continues to attract major Hollywood productions.
